Your facial rejuvenation treatments should be performed in a safe, clean, medically licensed facility, as modern facial rejuvenation therapy utilizes medical procedures that involve lasers, injections, and prescription medications. Sophisticated medical or surgical treatments should not be done in a spa or beauty salon.

There is no face lift in a jar. A well done face lift done by an experienced, skilled board certified plastic surgeon is still the most effective facial rejuvenation procedure for patients with significant skin laxity and facial aging changes. A simple, over the counter, non prescription wrinkle cure has not been invented yet. Traditional CO2 laser resurfacing can achieve remarkable wrinkle removal (see before and after picture below), however newer fractional laser resurfacing techniques are safer and nearly as effective, and are discussed below.

What About Non-surgical Facial Rejuvenation?

There are many exciting, effective and safe new non-surgical methods for facial rejuvenation. I have spent many years studying and helping develop new non-surgical facial rejuvenation methods and use many of them daily in my practice. To achieve a satisfactory result one needs to understand why our faces age, what the aging changes are and which new method or technology is best suited to correct each specific facial or skin aging change.

The facial and skin rejuvenation experts are your board certified dermatologist and plastic surgeon. These doctors have spent many years learning the basics of skin medicine and surgery and have passed vigorous examinations to determine their knowledge before achieving board certification.
